Sometimes it can feel like seven billion things are going on, and not one of them is happening to you. But, then, there's a guy like John McCauley III; guitarist and lead singer from the band Deer Tick, who makes it seem like "nothing happening" is just you "not doing". Here are some number for perspective: as the sole original member of Deer Tick, McCauley has played 805 shows in the past six years. That's an average of 115 shows per year, or, to put it another way, one show every three days for six years with no extended breaks. Of course, they did take breaks between tours.
