My faith in marriage is returning now: Shweta Tiwari
Looking at her, it's difficult to believe that she has a 10-year-old daughter or that her life has been an ordeal, with a marriage that can only be described as hellish. But, Shweta Tiwari smiles easily today. After all, she's doing well on the career front and troublemaker ex-husband Raja Chaudhary is out of her life for good. She admits with charming honesty ""I'm in a serene state today"" as she settles down for a rendezvous with us.Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai - News

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai | Impulse
Makes the perfect cuisine for ‘witty humor’ buffs. Aired on channel Star One from 2004-2006, this show gained much accolade and positive reception in India because of its unique story line and subject matter. This 70-episode series is a work of fiction devised by Aatish Kapadia, Produced by Jamnadas Majethia and Directed by Deven Bhojani, who also plays the role of Dushyant- Sarabhai’s son-in-law. The theme of this popular sitcom gyrates around the life of a moneyed, suave and classy Gujarati family, residing in one of the posh localities in South Mumbai. Belonging to the ‘Affluent Department’ of the ‘Prejudiced Society Pvt. Ltd’, the characters portray the lifestyle of a typical cream of the crop socialites of Mumbai, for whom eating ‘pani puri’ on roadside is terrifyingly middle class!
The family members include Indravadan Sarabhai (Satish Shah), at heart and often ridicules the uncanny customs and traditions of living in a high society. Indu is a foodie and loves playing practical jokes and pranks on others. He usually sides with his son Sahil and his wife Manisha, but his victims are mostly his wife Maya and younger son Rosesh, who are always seen flaunting their cloak of riches. Satish Shah is the perfect man for this role as his acting experience and natural aptitude for humor brings life to the character of Indravadan Sarabhai.
Maya Sarabhai is the female protagonist of the story who is elegant, smart, in-vogue and surprisingly intelligent! She’s highly sophisticated in her mannerisms and living, and completely justifies the saying- ‘if you’ve got it, flaunt it!’
Filled with pride and wit up to the brim, Maya represents all those glamorous upscale socialites, who protest against injustice and poorness by fasting, only to throw a cocktail party later to celebrate their success! Maya is most displeased by her daughter-in-law Manisha (which she later changes to Monisha as Manisha sounds highly middle class for a name) as she belongs to a typical middle class Punjabi family. Monisha’s carefree and ‘bargain-for-everything’ attitude gets on her nerves and she ends up having a squabble with her every time. Another villain in her life is her own husband Indu, who always supports Monisha and demeans her taste. Both her sons and her daughter Sonya are very dear to her. But Rosesh turns out be the ‘momma’s boy’ and her partner in crime as well. It’s only Ratna Pathak Shah, and no one else, who can so magnificently play the character which is soaked with so much grace and etiquette. Her skilled acting techniques adds much to her role and the story overall.
