Project Car Hell, Classic Toyota Wagon Edition: Crown or Cressida?
Probably inflicted on this machine's 43-year-old steel.The seller is a man or woman of very, very few words (the entirety of the car's description: “1968 toyota crown custom still runs”), which means that some noise happens when you crank the starter and that's about it. It appears that all of the glass visible in the one blurry cell-phone photograph is intact (Windshield? Who knows?), and— as far as you know— the left-side body isn't a festering mass of adobe-thickness Bondo and ball-peen dents. This car's description is a lot more complete than the Crown's, so you get a better picture of its condition. The interior is allegedly not too bad (except for the carpeting), but your custom wagon project will require a full revamp with Tijuana's finest diamond-tucked red pleather anyway.
