Northeast
Cimarron River - The flow below the dam eagle's nest is 8.5 ft and 6.8 ft near Cimarron. The release of dam on Eagle's Nest has decreased significantly and it's really not worth fishing at these low levels. Check the flows before you go. Press least 25 'makes for slow fishing.If the press does not go, wait until spring next year to fly fish.
Costilla Creek - The flow rate of 15 feet near the town of Costilla and 20 feet at the dam. Fishing is reported as fair to slow with low flow rates. The statement has lowered to a point where fishing is going to be difficult, at least at Comanche Creek anyway. Check the flows before you go.
Red River - Flows are 15 ft and 36 ft near Questa below the hatchery. Trout are available throughout the whole of the river of the fork above the confluence with the Rio Grande.Below the hatchery is reported as the best bet though. All methods are producing fish.
Rio Grande - The flows are 163 and 281 ft near Cerro CFS below Taos Junction Bridge. Low current velocity has made trout fishing slow. The fly fishing on the Rio is smallmouth bass on the banners. Cover is slower for deeper bass. No report on the pike.
Rio Hondo - The flow rate is 714 ft and fishing is reported as fair in the upper reaches of the ski area. Dry flies, spinners and small worms are all working.
Rio Pueblo - The flow rate is 7.1 feet. Fishing is fair.Identical to the Rio Hondo. Dry flies, spinners and small worms are all working. The river was filled last week with 1,803 triploid trout.
Kokanee Salmon Lures - News

South
Rio Ruidoso - Flow is 0.13 ft 5.3 ft in the city and in Hollywood. Fishing is reported as fair to good.It is best to catch fish deeper holes were held in conditions of low water.
Bonito Lake - Trout fishing continues to be good in the mornings and evenings. Green Power Bait and yellow spinners and black woolly boogers our relationship works.
Bottomless Lakes: No report, storage will resume in late fall.
Brantley Reservoir - It was a little pressure, and no current report. A statement of water required is in place at Lake Brantley because pesticides were found in fish. Do not keep or eat them.
Grindstone Reservoir - Fishing is reported as good with better fishing reported in the morning and evening for trout using worms, Power Bait and Petes gun.
Central East, including the Pecos River
Coyote Creek - The flow rate is 0.74 feet. Trout fishing is fair. Reported better fishing beaver ponds downstream areas of the camp.
Pecos River - The flow is 35 feet. The river is fishing well and the water is clear on the upper reaches. If you see cloudy water at low speed, consider the upstream to find clearer water.Use small flies in the water and take a fly flashy big plus, if the water is cloudy. Blue winged olives, yellow sallies, hoppers, ants and beetles were the best producers fly dry sage.
