After eight months of preparation, they have taught Bible lessons, worship leaders, teachers and memory verses for children recommended for salvation. One hundred eighty-three children, youth and adults have been led to Christ during the effort.Participating churches were Texas First Church in Granbury, Wedgwood Church in Fort Worth, Burleson Retta Church and Hillcrest Church in Cedar Hill. • Hardin-Simmons University, will hold a conference to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible, September 12-13. "The conference will focus on the world of the King James Version, in the context from which it came and it was created. We will focus on its influence on culture and the church," said Bob Ellis, assistant dean for academics at Logsdon Seminary.
