New burger business boasts the best beef

Just because a cut of Angus beef is known does not mean it really is. In fact, says Steve Presson, almost no cow or steer with a black skin can be and often is, given the label Angus.

But that does not necessarily ensure, says co-owner of Burgerocity, a hamburger restaurant that opened recently in downtown Folsom Century Theater shops opposite the Folsom Outlet Mall.

This is the first store of a franchise chain planned.

"Burgers are hot again," Presson, 58, said about opening another outlet in Folsom hamburger, "and no one is offering all-natural burgers."

Those on the menu Burgerocity, he says, are all certified Hereford beef out of Kansas City, served fresh, never frozen. "Hereford Beef is known for its tenderness and rich flavor," he said.

"None of the hormones, fillers or preservatives, only 100 percent beef freshly ground Chuck," he said.

All cattle whose meat is bound for Burgerocity are grown on a grain and grass-fed vegetarian diets.

Burgers are served on artisan breads or whole wheat or ciabatta, which are buttered and toasted. Organic White Cheddar Cheese is served on all the cheeseburgers.

The store also has a Nuttyburger vegetarian, freshly prepared from almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and a combination of fresh herbs. Hot dogs are the same all-natural beef kosher 100 percent. Idaho Fries are grown all-natural cuts.

"We kept our limited menu so we can maintain the high quality product," said Presson. "We're not trying to be everything to everyone, just the best burger anywhere."

Burgerocity, also held chain like McDonald's, Burger King and Johnny Rockets has recently opened in the mall Palladio, is in competition with operators in Folsom Smashburger hamburger local and Relish Burger Bar in El Dorado Hills.

Richard Righton, owner of Relish, however, does not see the new entry as a direct competitor.

Outlet shopping is not always budget.Just because the store is marketed as a decision does not mean the price tag is smaller than the same store in the local mall. Yes, you will find lots of offers, but be sure to check on what you buy. Lots of clothes, accessories and footwear small defects in them. Some people are willing to deal with faults and others are very upset when they get home and find the flaws. Check the stores return policy, if you can return your item for a full refund, make sure you absolutely must have the object in your hand!

The main reason to go to a factory shop is to find sales and we were able to find deals that fit right into our budget. With a student by my side, stick to a budget is not always easy. Especially when it gives me the "eyes" or find something wonderful for me to try!

We found the best deals on the way fall out of Gap, PacSun, and Banana Republic Factory Store. Lots of clothes, we found we had just seen at the mall the day before. We wandered through Guess and Quicksilver without much luck. Many sizes were either too small or too big.Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5 was a big disappointment, inventory was good but the prices were not. Jeans have risen by about $ 100.00. Macy was having a sale on the same brand for $ 50.00.
