Troy Mitchell has joined Fidelity State Bank & Trust Company as vice president of commercial business development. Mitchell, a graduate of Fort Hays State University, served as vice president and commercial loan officer with First State Bank & Trust, of Tonganoxie, at its Perry location for the past five years. He has been in banking for 19 years, holding previous positions at the Prairie State Bank in Mulvane and the Boeing Wichita Credit Union in Derby. His experience includes management and lending responsibilities.

Ryan Peckyno has been named associate director of contact management for the VA Health Resource Center in Topeka. He oversees 480 employees who provide services to veterans and their families. Peckyno is a West Point graduate and served in the U.S. military as an intelligence officer. He held leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble and Pinnacle Consulting before joining the HRC.

Casey Cordts , pediatrician, has joined the staff at PediatricCare in Topeka. The Overbrook native received his medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City in 2008. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2011. Cassie Scripter has joined the family medicine group of physicians at Cotton-O’Neil Clinic in Wamego. Scripter is a native of Alma and received her medical degree in 2008 from The University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. She completed a residency in family medicine at Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program in Salina in 2011.
