Thirteen adorable dogs will be strutting their stuff as they walk the runway in 2011 Doggies & Divas Luncheon / Fashion Show, October 8 at 11 am at the Lakeside Room of Sound in April.

The event this year will feature a masquerade parade with dogs dressed in different costumes (provided by BRENDA MACK Bark Avenue Salon) as a pirate, fairy, cowboy, lion, biker and butterflies! What is special is that all 13 of the model of our dogs are rescued animals! Some found their homes forever, some are still looking. (Hopefully, when the event is over, all will be in loving families!)

Accompany the doggies on the trail will be 13 wonderful divas, who all love and compassion for the animals themselves. They will be modeling the modes of local boutiques such as CHA CHAS, DIVAS, Hoople, IT SHES Doncaster and Angela. Included in the case will be a huge silent auction, a tree gift certificate restaurants and a few, auction items very exclusive, live. Some of these include a wine tasting with limo ride for eight, a memorial stone animals and trees to be placed in the park Rotary Club of Lake Conroe memory, and a walk through the Biker Chick with the National Forest lunch.

In addition, the auctioneer LYN HAWTHORNE-Howard will make an auction is very different and unique for an element of surprise special! All this for only $ 50! And all profits go directly to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals SNAP Montgomery County, a 501c3, non-profit, all volunteer, no-kill, animal rescue organization.

Rocko (black) and Jax (buff) our two rescued cocker spaniels couldn't be more different.

Rocko loves the outdoors, rooting and digging in the dirt, roaming the property, getting as dirty as he can possibly get and having an affair with an Arabian Horse is Rockos ultimate day!

Jax, on the other hand, hates to go outside, doesn't like getting his paws wet, would much prefer to lounge around on the back of the couch or in our beds, in the air conditioning, while everyone is outside.
