Kelsie Logan and Alex Klinger wed
Kelsie Kay Logan and Alex Joseph Klinger, both of Johnstown, were married June 25, 2011, in a double-ring ceremony at Ellis Ranch in Loveland. Pastor Carl Sutter officiated.The bride is the daughter of K.C. and Cindy Logan of Loveland.
The groom is the son of Larry and Genie Mjelde and Bob and Katie Klinger of Loveland.
The bride wore a soft white, one-shoulder taffeta gown with ruched pleating on the asymmetrical bodice, which fell to a full skirt with beaded pick-ups and a chapel train. She wore a beaded headpiece and an elbow-length veil. Her bouquet consisted of pink and orange gerbera daisies with touches of white monte casino and bear grass. The base was wrapped in white polka-dot ribbon. Attached to the bouquet were her great-grandmother's wedding ring and a photo charm of her grandfather who passed away three weeks prior to the wedding.
The wedding party and the groom walked down the aisle to "Pachelbel Meets U2" by John Schmidt. The bride and her father arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage and walked down the aisle to "Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain. Leah Overturf, cousin of the bride, read "Love" by Roy Croft. After the vows, Anna Petersen, cousin of the bride, read "What Is Love?" by an unknown author. To symbolize their unity and faith in God, the couple assembled an intricate cross that will be displayed in their home as a reminder of their special day. The newlyweds left the ceremony in the horse-drawn carriage.
Matron of honor was Megan Halloran, sister of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Kacey Young, Ashley Steven and Bonnie Glade.
Junior bridesmaids were Karli Klinger and Jillian Klinger, sisters of the groom.
Best man was Jesse Johnson.
Groomsmen were Barry Klinger, Dustin Mjelde, Erik Klinger and Shawn Mjelde, brothers of the groom.
Ring bearers were Benjamin and Nathan Halloran, nephews of the groom.
